Review of Gran Sarmiento – A Functional Family StopoverDuring our recent family vacation, we found ourselves needing a budget-friendly day room at Gran Sarmiento before our evening flight. While the decor is undeniably dated, it served its purpose effectively. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and an en-suite bathroom for a quick refresh. What stood out to us was the warm hospitality of the staff, who went out of their way to provide towels, soap, and a hairdryer. As a marine biologist, I especially appreciated the tranquil atmosphere, perfect for winding down before traveling further. The hotel’s location is convenient, making it easy to explore local attractions. While the furnishings are minimal, Gran Sarmiento offers a welcoming environment for families needing a short stay. Just enough for our needs and to refresh before our next adventure.
